FOR ALL AGES
1. RHAPSODY IN SCHOOL
Musicians up close
RHAPSODY IN SCHOOL was the brainchild of the pianist Lars Vogt. The aim of the project is to reduce the distance between leading musicians who only normally perform before a large audience and the public. Far from the orchestra pit and the stage they explain what music means to them. By playing short pieces and providing personal insights into their profession these world-famous stars hope to convey their passion for their instrument and music to children and young people.

3. MUSEUM & LIVE MUSIC
Experiencing Mozart with all the senses.
Not every child is thrilled to visit a museum and make new discoveries. The trick is to engage all the individual’s senses, answer questions and arouse curiosity. Only when the young visitor is enthused in a host of ways are unforgettable impressions created. MUSEUM & LIVE MUSIC delivers this experience, allowing the young Mozart Museum visitor to actively discover, experience and, most importantly, listen to Mozart.

4. MUSEUM WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Discovering Mozart
Even Salzburg’s youngest residents know their city’s most celebrated son: many children and young people are aware of Mozart’s life and work but just who is the person behind it? Who was the young Mozart and, later, the mature artist? It can sometimes be difficult for a young audience to appreciate musical genius since inhibitions must first be overcome in order to discover Mozart. This is why we offer workshops that enable children and young people to encounter Mozart via a completely different route.
