The correspondence of the Mozart family is a treasure of world cultural heritage. The letters not only provide a glimpse into the daily life of the Mozart family but the collection is a particularly valuable source in music history of the 18th century. The letter collection of the Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg is enhanced by numerous handwritten, original documents from the 18th and 19th centuries, many of which have only been published in excepts.
