NMA ARCHIVE & DIGITAL SOURCE ARCHIVE

The archive of the Neuen Mozart-Ausgabe (NMA), under the auspice of the Digital Mozart Edition (DME), contains more than 4,500 files of source copies (autographs, transcriptions, prints from more than 200 libraries), more than 5,000 microforms as well as the archive of the working documents from the editorial staff of the NMA, which include a wealth of information about correspondence with publishers, libraries, owners of manuscripts as well as records and notes pertaining to source documents and copyists. The collection of digital copies of source materials is being systematically enlarged (main emphasis: opera archive). The archive may be used as a reference for scholarly purposes.
