Bettina Leitner first studied piano at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. In 2008 she passed the Bachelor's examination with distinction.

From 2007 to 2012 she was a student in the concert subject organ with Prof. Hannfried Lucke, where she also completed her Master's examination with distinction in 2012. Her training was complemented by workshops with Anthony Spiri and Reinhard Goebel. She is a multiple prize winner of the competition "Prima la Musica".

In 2014 she was a prizewinner of the International Summer Academy Mozarteum Salzburg. In addition to intensive concert activity in Austria, she has received invitations to Norway, Los Angeles, Prague, Regensburg, Rome (St. Peter's Cathedral), to the organ consecration in Skopje/Macedonia as representative of Austria, as well as to the 2008 Bach Week in Salzburg, to concerts in Salzburg Cathedral and to the concerts of the International Mozarteum Foundation in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum.

Bettina Leitner is a sought-after chamber music partner, having gained valuable experience working with Igor Ozim, Heinrich Schiff, Wolfgang Boettcher, Alois Brandhofer, Dany Bonvin and Hans Gansch. Performances with the Tölzer Knabenchor, the Camerata Salzburg and the Vienna Philharmonic completed her concert activities.

She has repeatedly appeared as a soloist in world premieres of important composers of our time.
