Programme
The Mozart Residence invites you to a special musical evening:
Young musicians from the Mozarteum University Pre-College and the Bella Musica Mozarteum ensemble, conducted by S. David Hummel, will be giving a joint concert at this historic location for the third time.
The focus is on encounters with talented young musicians – from a nine-year-old violinist to young students of a high artistic standard. The programme includes works by Wolfgang A. Mozart, Maria Theresia von Paradis, Charles-Auguste de Bériot and other composers. The ‘Bella Musica Film 2025’ will also be shown, documenting the ensemble's tour of Italy on the European Mozart Routes and providing insights into the music-making of young talents.
A special highlight of the evening: some pieces will be performed on original instruments that belonged to Mozart and are otherwise rarely heard – a precious opportunity for both the young musicians and the audience.
After the concert, Linus Klumpner, director of the Mozart Museums, invites you to take a tour of Mozart's residence with the special exhibition ‘Kosmos Zauberflöte’ (Cosmos Magic Flute).
