  • Anaïs Gaudemard (Harp)

In Greek mythology, the muses are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, nine patron gods of the arts and sciences. In linguistic usage, the muse has survived through the millennia: as the mostly female embodiment of inspiration for predominantly male creative artists. The young, internationally acclaimed French harpist Anaïs Gaudemard has put together a beguiling concert programme with this motto: In her circle of muses there are interpreters, lovers, wives, sisters - but also two female composers and at the same time harpists, for whom her instrument itself can be considered a source of inspiration.
