Mozart was her favourite composer: the early sound films Ten Minutes of Mozart and Papageno by the film pioneer Lotte Reiniger show touching silhouette sequences to the immortal music by the Salzburg genius. La Mort de Mozart is the earliest Mozart film of all, in which Étienne Arnaud and Louis Feuillade artistically portray Mozart dying as he worked on his Requiem.
