The miserly, hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge is feared and hated by those around him. But on Christmas Eve, three Christmas spirits visit him, showing him, in vivid detail, his faults and failings.

CAMERATA Salzburg, together with its young audience, brings Charles Dickens’ masterpiece to life, narrated by the award-winning Berlin actor Max Urlacher. This enchanting fairy tale, presented in a specially adapted version with music for children and adults, is the perfect introduction to the Christmas season.

The successful production, praised by audiences and educators alike for its compelling performance and carefully chosen music, is now being revived.
