Twice holds better! In concert, we usually hear a piece only once. That is why - especially with unknown works - it often remains only with the first impression. In this concert, works by young composers are played twice. In the first run-through, the audience will let the pieces have an immediate effect on them. Afterwards, composers and performers will have their say, talking about their music, the history of its creation and the challenges of interpretation. The audience is invited to ask questions and describe their perceptions. When the music is heard a second time, there is bound to be one or two "aha"-experiences. A worthwhile concert experiment!
