Salzburg artists in focus
In his new series 'Poème de l’Extase', piano virtuoso Marcus Paul Hasenauer traces a passionate musical arc from Beethoven’s Waldstein Sonata through virtuosic Schubert/Liszt transcriptions to the ecstatic world of Scriabin’s Fourth Piano Sonata. Accustomed to continually reinventing herself through a wide range of artistic roles, mezzo-soprano Tamara Obermayr presents a colourful programme drawn from her own musical universe. Meanwhile, Lorenz Widauer and Avin Ahmadi, with trumpet and oud, offer selections from their album Until We Meet Again, demonstrating how curiosity, trust, and artistic openness can create entirely new sonic landscapes.
