Rolando Villazón presents young stars with bilingual and bicultural roots. For Nikola Curović (Serbian–German), Arutjunjan’s Trumpet Concerto feels like home, as it recalls his father and reflects his own passion for music. Matej Dzido (Slovenian–Austrian) performs his own works and dresses famous pieces of the piano repertoire in vibrant Latin-jazz colours. Chiara and Giuliano Sannicandro (Italian–German) usually move in different musical worlds, yet share common “favorites” ranging from Bach to Piazzolla.
