In medias res: Rodney Prada and Josep Maria Martí Duran make use of this phrase by the Roman poet Horace in their programme, which "without further ado" plunges into a musical expedition that artfully connects several composers - but less with regard to the epoch of their work than to the influence they exerted on each other. With their arrangements, which are well worth listening to, the two performing artists do the same as the great composers and thus put the well-known pieces in a very personal light.
