The ensemble Sarahbanda, founded as part of the popular Mozart y Mambo project by Berlin Philharmonic horn player Sarah Willis, explores the fascinating rhythms of Cuban dance music in an entirely new way—by incorporating the French horn, an instrument not traditionally found in Cuban music. Together with a group of Cuba’s most talented musicians, the star horn player creates a completely new sound through exclusive arrangements of some of the most famous Cuban songs as well as original compositions by the band members – fresh, innovative, and irresistible!
Arrangements by Jorge Aragón, Yuniet Lombida & The Sarahbanda.
The concert will be repeated for school classes on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
End of event: approx.: 9:10 p.m.
