The two thoroughbred comedians Heinz Marecek and Erwin Steinhauer are bringing their successful programme ‘Was lachen Sie?’ back to the stage to mark Heinz Marecek's 80th birthday. The show, which played to sold-out audiences more than 120 times throughout Austria over 25 years ago, not only features the classic double act – with Steinhauer as the ‘smart one’ and Marecek as the ‘dumb one’ – but also solo pieces by the two acting legends. The comeback is supported by many years of stage experience, pointed humour and a deep appreciation for the Viennese cabaret tradition. Audiences can expect an evening that will make them laugh, but also make them think – an event not to be missed.
