Programme
Celebrate Mozart's 270th birthday with us with the world's most frequently performed opera: Mozart's ‘The Magic Flute’, in a staging by Rolando Villazón, with the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg under the direction of its celebrated chief conductor Roberto González-Monjas and with a high-calibre ensemble of soloists.
The three departments of the International Mozarteum Foundation - the artistic division, the museums and the research department - are jointly responsible for this large-scale project. The Mozarteum Foundation's unrivalled expertise is thus more present and accessible to the public in this anniversary year than ever before.
A tribute to Mozart and an unforgettable event for Mozart fans and all those experiencing his immortal masterpiece for the first time.
