For more than half a century, the International Mozart Competition has ranked among the world’s most prestigious music competitions. For exceptionally gifted young performers, participation often serves as a springboard to an international career, as demonstrated by the later success of former prizewinners such as Diana Damrau, Renée Fleming, Magdalena Kožená, Genia Kühmeier and Thomas Zehetmair.
The Lilli Lehmann Medal is awarded by the International Mozarteum Foundation to outstanding voice students of the Mozarteum University Salzburg. The stage is set for the stars of tomorrow!
