Programme

The ORF Long Night of Museums offers visitors the opportunity to experience Mozart's residence and the Magic Flute cottage – with exciting guided tours and live performances on Mozart's original concert grand piano. According to anecdotal evidence, Mozart composed parts of his popular opera The Magic Flute in the pretty little cottage and also met with singers here for rehearsals.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM (FROM 6 PM TO 11 PM)
Fun crafts and stories from “The Magic Flute” (parents are responsible for their children).

THE STRING QUARTET “CORDA VIVA” (FROM 7:00 PM TO 7:30 PM AND FROM 9:00 PM TO 9:30 PM)
Four passionate musicians play excerpts from Mozart's “La finta giardiniera” and “The Magic Flute” and talk about Mozart!

ASK AN EXPERT! (FROM 7:30 PM TO 10:30 PM)
A Mozart expert answers all questions about Mozart.
Calling all children: think of really difficult questions for the expert!

FLASHBACK 1775 – SINGING WITH ACCOMPANIMENT ON MOZART'S PIANO (FROM 8:00 PM TO 8:30 PM)
A musical retrospective with selected compositions by Mozart, played on Mozart's original piano. With Isabella Runggaldier (soprano) and Katarzyna Hatalak (fortepiano).
