- Daniel Ottensamer (Clarinet)
Sinfonie B-Dur KV 319
Klarinettenkonzert A-Dur KV 622
For the internationally renowned horn player Sarah Willis, the Havana Lyceum Orchestra is "one of my favourite orchestras in the world". Temperament and joy of playing are the trademark and infallible recipe for success of the young musicians of the Cuban ensemble, which was founded in 2007 by Pepe Méndez. The orchestra last thrilled the Salzburg audience at the final concert of Mozart+Fest in October 2022. Mozart and Latin American sounds and dances are also on the programme this time - with Daniel Ottensamer, solo clarinettist of the Vienna Philharmonic, as soloist.
