Four artists from four countries, brought together in Salzburg by their shared love of music: with their programme Sounds of the World, the passionate musicians of the Beija-Flor String Quartet — Featured Artists 2026/27 of the Mozarteum Foundation — share the rich diversity of the musical traditions of their home countries and invite audiences to discover their individual cultural roots. Alongside Mozart, the genius loci whose presence defines the ensemble’s adopted home, audiences will hear remarkable works for string quartet from four continents: Asia, South America, Europe, and Australia.
