The little raindrop is so alone! His friends have suddenly disappeared and so he sets off on a journey to look for them. He jumps into the stream and comes ashore in Salzburg, where he sees the little ghosts sitting in the eavesdropping concert. He continues on the Danube to the Black Sea. Along the way, he meets the little green cactus, swims with the fish in the deep sea and experiences that water can sometimes be as soft as clouds or as cold as snow.
