Programme
Amidst music books, practice sessions and the little stories of everyday life, a family is growing up in Salzburg whose name will go down in music history. Music and storytelling open a window into the lives of Nannerl, Wolferl and their parents, revealing the people behind the legend.
An entertaining insight into the Mozarts’ family life and their domestic music-making – full of music, stories and surprising discoveries.
On two mornings, the historic Tanzmeistersaal is transformed into a ‘musical museum’. As lively melodies and delicate sounds fill the room, images of a bygone era come to life: how did Mozart live, work and make music here? Humorous anecdotes and fascinating insights bring him to life as a person – full of wit, curiosity and musical genius. (Next date: 9 May)
