They have already performed on all five continents: since 2009, the German violinist Livia Sellin, the Italian-Austrian cellist Philipp Comploi and the Chinese-Austrian pianist Chengcheng Zhao have been conquering the world's most important concert halls and festivals as Trio Alba. At their concert at the Mozarteum Foundation, they will guide the audience through two centuries of music history - from Mozart to Schubert and the young Shostakovich to the Estonian-born Arvo Pärt, whose transcription of the moving Adagio from Mozart's early Piano Sonata K. 280 in his Mozart Adagio for Piano Trio expresses his great affinity with the music of the Salzburg genius.
