The Mozart Week debut of Icelandic star pianist Víkingur Ólafsson is eagerly anticipated. The concert is conducted by Philippe Jordan, who in January 2026 was awarded the Austrian Cross of Honour for his extraordinary services to science and art. The two renowned artists devote themselves to an all-Mozart programme centering on the Piano Concerto in C minor, KV 491, which with its dramatic power of expression and complex structure is one of the most mature works by the ingenious composer.
