Family festival featuring fairy tales and myths of the Romantic era 

Following a spectacular family Baroque festival last season, the state rooms of the DomQuartier are once again opening their doors to the Bach Society! This time, we are dedicating the day entirely to the music of the Romantic era. Together, we’ll embark on an enchanted journey deep into the Untersberg and, through the music of Schubert and others, discover the sensitive and nature-inspired facets of a colourful legend. Like a giant escape room, a parade through the state rooms will round off the concert – young and old alike will set off on a detective-style hunt for clues, allowing them to rediscover the state rooms in harmony with Romantic music. Food and drink will be provided, whilst the DomQuartier’s fancy-dress, games and creative stations encourage visitors to get involved and immerse themselves in the experience. In partnership with the DomQuartier, the Bachs New Generation Orchestra and young singers from Salzburg, a special concert experience for young and old alike is guaranteed.
