The programme contains two lots of incidental music for plays, and two lots of emotional turbulence. In between comes the Sinfonia concertante for four winds perhaps by Mozart? A work of doubtful authorship – in other words a dubious enterprise? When a young orchestra plays works from the Storm and Stress period, we can look forward to an emotional roller-coaster ride.
