New staging of the historic production from the Mozart Week 1976

Mozart’s opera La finta giardiniera (The Fake Garden-girl) celebrates two anniversaries in the same year: it was premiered 250 years ago in Munich, and 50 years ago the production at the Salzburg Marionette Theatre was created in the unmistakable sets and costumes by the legendary stage designer Günther Schneider-Siemssen. The historic production is now being revived.
