The Queen's Six from Windsor Castle sing daily in St. Georges Chapel on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III and are celebrated worldwide from New York to Singapore with frenetic applause. With “Mapping the Stars”, the Six present moving a cappella works from Renaissance to pop - from Tallis and Monteverdi to Chilcott and Coldplay. A thoroughly British program.
The ensemble was founded in 2008 to mark the 450th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth I. They regularly perform for the Royal Family - both at private and state receptions. As recently as the funeral of Prince Philip in April 2021 and the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, they performed as part of the St. Georges Chapel Choir in front of over 4 billion people on television.
