The Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Oksana Lyniv from Ukraine, star tenor Juan Diego Flórez and leader of the orchestra Rainer Honeck devote themselves extensively to the composer in whose honour the festival takes place. They also present excerpts from the opera Alcide by a rarely played contemporary of Mozart, the Russian-Ukrainian composer Dimitri Bortniansky. 

One intermission; end at approx. 9.45 p.m.
