Elisabeth von Herzogenberg (1874-1892), Liza Lehmann (1862-1918), Maude Valerie White (1855-1937), Rebecca Clarke (1886-1979), Freda Swain (1902-1985),
Ivy Mason Whipp (*1920) and others.

The songs of these outstanding female composers, whose work was often overshadowed by that of their male contemporaries, span an arc from the Romantic period to the 21st century and are characterized by their poetic expressiveness and subtle melodies.
In the careful selection of their works, the internationally acclaimed baritone Stephan Loges and the renowned Spanish pianist Antonio Oyarzabal demonstrate the versatility and beauty of these forgotten songs, which today are beauty of these forgotten songs, which are experiencing a well-deserved rediscovery today, and their interpretation offers a unique approach to this rich, emotionally charged musical tradition.
