KlangKarton – the programme of the Salzburg Mozarteum Foundation for children, families and young people

Still life – a genus. Or, in other words, a motto: “Live still”. Does this motto fit into a children’s and youth programme? Yes! Just today, in our noisy, fast-moving time it becomes a scarce commodity – the quiet life.

But it can do so much:

… Leaving the thoughts and things their space and their time, so that they can unfold.
… Making it possible to look at things in peace and hear them in silence.
… Being able to pursue your own creative passion and give it expression. Seeing the multifarious and sometimes also rare flowers unfold, or looking at what has been, in order to experience something new and exciting.

The children’s and youth programme would like to invite its visitors to get moving themselves out of the silence: with music, in workshops, with visits to the museums, in the numerous offerings of the Mozarteum Foundation, which can be found in the still life on the pages of this annual programme of events. Enjoy the quiet listening and immerse yourself in the sea of things and peculiarities to be found in the programme.
