We would like to thank our supporters
for their loyalty and
their generous commitment!

The Mozarteum Foundation looks back on a long tradition of civic engagement that started with the institution’s establishment in 1881. A lot has changed since then, but not its need for many private friends and partners, who support the Mozarteum Foundation in its unique mission.

We are delighted to receive every contribution that supports us in our mission to preserve and foster the legacy of Mozart.

The choice is yours:
You can start an ongoing relationship with the organization, “The Salzburg Mozarteum Foundation”, or foster the various activities of our institution in the form of donations. You could be inspired by a particular project, or even assume a sponsorship. Companies and Organisations are cordially invited to accompany us in a longterm relationship as a sponsor.

Contributions to the Salzburg Mozarteum Foundation are tax-deductible in several countries.

Benefits of Memberships

The annual dues of members and patrons, like the donations of our founders and donators, have provided reliable substance for the activities of the foundation since its establishment in its original form in 1841 as “Cathedral music society and Mozarteum” (Dom-Musik-Verein und Mozarteum). These funds significantly support the implementation of the Mozarteum’s many tasks and projects.

On “Mozart Day” (Mozart-Tag), during the annual General Assembly, the Board of Trustees that votes for an Executive Committee and an Advisory Board, is appointed for three years. Business is conducted by the Chief Executive Officer, with support of the directors of the divisions Concerts, Research, and Museums, in addition to around 100 coworkers.
