Introductory lecture: Destination Mozart

What’s up at the Mozart Week during the first weekend? What can we expect on 27 January, Mozart’s 269th anniversary? Ulrich Leisinger, director of research, will inform the English-speaking audience in entertaining manner about the highlights of the weekend. He will outline Rolando Villazon’s general idea of the programme and give short introductions to events #12 (Vienna Philharmonic I) and #16 (Orfeo), in particular since the pre-concert talks for these events are being held in German.
